Terms of use

The terms on which you may use companydig, its API and its MCP server. By using the site you accept them. Last updated 4 November 2026.

Who we are

companydig is run by nexus6 interactive, based in South Africa. You can contact us through our contact form.

What the site is

companydig is a free information tool. It reads the accounts and other records UK companies file at Companies House and presents them as financial statements, ratios, group structures and events. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Companies House.

Accuracy

Much of the data is read automatically from scanned documents, by text recognition software and by AI models. It may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and the reasons given for a company's failure are summaries of what its administrators wrote, tagged automatically. Always check the figures against the filings themselves, which each page links to. If you find a mistake, please tell us through our contact form and we'll correct it.

Not advice

Nothing on the site is financial, investment, credit, legal or tax advice. Don't rely on it as the sole basis for any decision.

Fair use

You may use the site, the API and the MCP server for any lawful purpose, including commercially, within these limits:

We may block access that breaks these terms.

Data and licences

Company data is from Companies House and contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. That licence doesn't cover personal data; see the privacy notice for how we handle it. You may reuse the figures and analysis on companydig, with a link back to the page you took them from.

Availability

The site is provided as it is and as available. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time, and it depends on Companies House and other services we don't control.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, nexus6 interactive is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content, including loss of profit, business or data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of South Africa. If you use the site as a consumer, you keep any rights the law of your own country gives you.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows when they last changed.
